Founder Story: The Vision Behind Her Privée Société

“I created Her Privée Société because modern women deserve a space to indulge in life’s pleasures together. We’re not just another club. We’re a sisterhood built on softness, connection, and joy.”

I’ve always had a passion for bringing people together. Since I turned twenty, I’ve been known as the friend who planned everything. From sun-soaked holidays to intimate dinners filled with laughter, I found joy in creating moments that made women feel seen. People would often say, “You should make this a business.” I tucked those words away and focused on what I loved most — bringing women together in meaningful ways.

I’m Sherella Johnson, a London mum, beauty entrepreneur, and connector at heart. During the pandemic, when life slowed down, I discovered the Hey! VINA app and formed a small online circle of nearly 100 women. We bonded over motherhood, work, and womanhood through our screens. Soon after lockdown, we transitioned to real-life moments — casual brunches, long walks, and open-hearted conversations. I didn’t rush to build a brand. I continued focusing on my beauty business and caring for my family, letting connection lead the way.

In early 2025, while I was pregnant, the same message kept coming from friends: “You need to make this a business.” I’d always been that friend — the one who planned the holidays, the dinner parties, the perfect little details that turned a moment into a memory.

I toyed with the thought while preparing for my baby’s arrival, but my focus stayed on motherhood. After giving birth, I quietly shelved the idea, telling myself there’d be time later.

Then in October, my friend Angela asked me to plan her 40th birthday trip to Dubai. I offered to do it for free — I wasn’t officially ‘in business’ — but she sent me £100 anyway and said, “No, you always go above and beyond. You need to start charging.”

We made the group chat, and I shared the itinerary — eight pages of sunset rooftops, desert calm, beach days, and boujie dinners. The girls were excited, but Angela’s words stuck:

“You really need to do this as a business.”

That’s when I smiled and replied,

“Something’s cooking.”

The Vision Takes Shape

Her Privée Société is my next chapter. A culmination of years spent designing meaningful gatherings, it has now evolved into something more intentional. Founded in 2025 and currently in our pre-launch phase, we are growing with care.

Our approach to luxury isn’t loud. It’s intimate. We celebrate the luxury of time, presence, and being surrounded by women who uplift and understand you. It’s about feeling at home while being your highest self.

As I reflect, I see how every shared meal and every unplanned conversation built the foundation of what Her Privée Société is becoming. I believe women thrive in safe, beautiful spaces where they are seen, supported, and celebrated.

In today’s world, many women feel isolated, especially while juggling motherhood, work, and relationships. I wanted to create a space where you don’t have to perform or prove anything. You can just be.

I’ve seen the magic that happens when women gather — the shared laughter, the tears, the encouragement. That’s what this space is for. Her Privée Société is a place where women can lean in, speak freely, and walk away feeling inspired.
